/ The problem
The client's process was a sequence of steps that people were carrying out by hand and holding in their heads. It worked, slowly, and it broke whenever the person who knew it was unavailable.

Application development
A Next.js front end over the captured data, so the process has a state that can be inspected rather than one that only exists in a chat log.
Conversational data capture
A Telegram bot walking users through a multi-step flow in real time, validating each answer at the point it is given.
Process design
The workflow was simplified before it was built. Automating the original sequence step for step would have preserved every awkward part of it.
/ What we did
Capture where the users already were — Telegram — rather than asking them to learn an interface. The conversation is the form, each step validated as it arrives, with the web application handling everything the chat cannot.

Next.js
Server-rendered application handling the data, the views and the operations the bot cannot cover on its own.

Real-time capture in a client the users already had installed, with no new account or app to adopt.
